As everyone knows, the world of TRAIL not only involves people who love sport, but also those who respect the environment and people. To register to the Electric Trail event, it is required to:

  • not throw on the ground any type of waste that may harm the environment;
  • respect yourselves: no cheating of any kind, neither before nor during the race;
  • respect other trailers, possibly assisting those in difficulty;
  • respect the volunteers whose intent is the same as yours: to participate for the pleasure of being there.

The event will take place in Pont Saint Martin on 19th March 2017.
The meeting is scheduled at 05:30¬†am¬†at¬†the¬†‚ÄúMaison du Boulodrome‚ÄĚ,¬†Via Schigliatta 5 - 11026 Pont Saint Martin (AO).
The  42 Km competition will start at 7:00 am.
The 18 Km competition will start at 8:30 am.

Registration fee is of ¬†18‚ā¨¬†for ¬†the¬†18¬†Km¬†competition¬†and¬†25‚ā¨¬†for¬†the¬†42Km¬†competition.¬†

Registrations will close on 16 march 2017.
The participation to the race of 18 km is open to all athletes who are at least 16 years of age in possession of valid medical certificate competitive and who have signed the disclaimer agreement. For participants under the age of 18 years is also required written permission from a parent. The registration fee for the 18 km race is EUR 18.00.
the participation to the race of 42 Km is open to all athletes who are at least 18 years of age in possession of valid medical certificate competitive and who have signed the disclaimer agreement. For the 42 km race is the price is EUR 25.00 .

The competition kit is ensured to the first 500 registered participants.
The awards ceremony will take place 30 minutes after the arrival of the last winning competitor of each race.
The fist 5 top men and first 5 top women will be awarded of each race.


Connected via radio/telephone with the race committee, the rescue station is located in the start/finish area. The distress call by an athlete to the emergency number indicated on bib number will automatically submit him to the authority of the physician and/or rescuer and commits him to accept their decisions.


Competitors must respect the Alpine environment, by avoiding any behaviour in contrast with it and especially dispersing waste of any kind. Who will be caught abandoning waste along the path will be disqualified from the competition and fined according to the municipal regulations.
There will be not available any plastic glass at the refreshment points. The competitors will have to bring them by themselves.

  • Head torch (mandatory only for the 42 km race)


The bib distribution will take place at the "Maison du Boulodrome" in the starting area of Pont-Saint-Martin in the days:

  • Saturday, March 18 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 19 from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

The bib must be worn over any outfit on the chest, abdomen or thigh, always visible for the entire competition. Therefore it must be placed over any outfit.


In case of climatic events of high intensity, the organisation, upon its sole discretion, will decide in any moment, variations of the itinerary, which will be communicated to the participants and to the responsible of the race.


The maximum time limit is set to 5 hours for the 18 Km competition, and to 12 hours for the 42 Km one. Hour gates for the 18 Km race are placed at 11:30 o’clock at the km 10 and 12:15 at km 18. The hour gates of the 42 Km race are set at 12:30 o’clock at the km 21,3 (Madonna della Guardia),  at 14:30 o’clock at the km 27 (Albard-way) and at 15:50 o’clock at the km 32 (Bard).


The path of both races will be clearly marked with flags, signs or indicators, so to avoid deviations or shortcuts and ensure maximum safety for both competitors and public.
During the briefing that will be held 15 minutes before the start time, the path signal modes will be indicated.


Some check points will be set up along the path, where authorised personnel will detect the passage of the competitors by noting the bib number.
Only registered competitors who have undergone to all controls will be ranked and awarded. Therefore, we remind to all athletes to promptly communicate the bib number to the personnel displaced along the path if required.


In case of retirement during the race, the competitor must approach the closest check point and communicate the retirement that must be registered. The organisation will arrange his return to the starting point in Pont Saint Martin, upon its own pace. In case of missing communication, the organizer will charge to the participant all the costs for his search.


5 refreshment points will be set up along the course of the 42 km and 4 stops along the route of 18 km. The location of the refreshment is indicated in the road book downloaded from the site.

Therefore the athletes must provide themselves with everything they need. All wastes, glasses, gels, bars, etc. must be disposed in the appropriate containers placed at the refreshments points.
Who will be caught throwing any waste outside the appropriate containers will be disqualified.
Glasses will be not delivered.



Controllers located along the itinerary will be authorised to verify the mandatory equipment and, more in general, to ensure the compliance of the rules, which every competitor declares to have read and accepted unconditionally.
The jury of the competition may decide the disqualification of the competitor even in case of:

  • Failure to pass from a check point
  • Missing the mandatory equipment
  • Established use of any mean of transport
  • Failure to assist a competitor in difficulty
  • Abandon of the equipment along the itinerary
  • Rude behaviour towards other athletes, organisation members and volunteers
  • Refusal to undergo any medical examinations requested by physicians or health care made available by the organisation.


Only written claims will be taken into consideration, which must be submitted within thirty minutes from posting the provisional results, with a caution of ‚ā¨ 50.00.
The claim must contain all details of the matter and the names of witnesses if any.


The jury decides, within a reasonable time, about all obligations related to the competition, disputes occurred and disqualifications decided during the race. The decisions will be final.


Only competitors that will reach the finish line and have been registered can be ranked. A general ranking will be issued separately for men and women of each race.


By registering themselves, the competitors authorise the organisation to use photographs, videos and registrations regarding the participation to Electric Trail for any legitimate purpose, even commercial, free of charge and without territorial limits.


Each competitor runs at his own risk. Participation is under the sole responsibility of the competitors, who waive any action against the organisers in case injuries and further consequences that may occur after the competition.
In order to complete the procedure, when registering, the runner subscribes an escape clause to waive any responsibility.
Along the path, the athletes must comply with the Road Code. Athletes must pay maximum attention to the traffic on the roads, especially crossroads and intersections, as the roads will not be closed to the traffic.
By registering to the competition, participants declare: to know and accept this regulation and any amendment made and to release the organisers from any liability, both civil and criminal, for personal injury and/or property damage caused by him or derived from him before, during and after the event.
